Local businesses want to help everyone have a fun and safe Halloween. Here are some of the events planned in Hillsdale for the spooky fall season as of Friday, October 22. Check the Hillsdale News Community Calendar for any late additions.
Casa Colima
Visit and take a selfie with giant Halloween inflatable characters during the week leading up to Halloween, then stop by for trick-or-treating from 3-5pm on Saturday, October 30 and Sunday, October 31.
Hoot-n-Annie Resale Boutique
Stop by on Halloween from 12-4pm for healthy treats and a fun photo op (plus a coupon for a future visit). Be sure to wear a mask, even in front of the shop, to keep everyone safe.
Key Bank
Candy distribution from 9am-6pm on Friday, October 29
OnPoint Community Credit Union
Visit on Friday, October 29, to check out staff costumes; free candy for members. Staff-painted pumpkins will be on display in the lobby all week, stop by to vote for your favorite.
Portland Christian Center
Trunk or Treat, 11am-2pm on Saturday, October 30
A walk-through event for kids and families with giant inflatables, decorated cars, kids’ activities, local food trucks, and free candy and kettle-corn. Kid-friendly costumes welcome.
The UPS Store
Free candy all week leading up to Halloween during store hours: Monday through Friday from 8am-6pm and Saturday from 10am-4pm.
