Blueberry Pancake Breakfast Stacks Up 47th Win

Hillsdale Business and Professional Association’s annual community event on July 19th was a “huge success,” according to to event co-chair Chris Braidwood-Reid.

Breakfasts consumed totaled around 550, prepared and served up by more than 55 volunteers. Coordinating it all was an event committee headed up by Braidwood-Reid and Jacquline Fitzgibbon from Hillsdale State Farm.

Volunteers included three generations of Wardin descendants—Braidwood-Reid, her son and grandchildren, and her brother—representing 4th, 5th, and 6th-generation Hillsdaleians whose family built the Hillsdale shopping center on the south side of Capitol Hwy more than 60 years ago.
