Positive Charge! PDX is partnering with New Narrative, Northwest Pilot Project, Sunstone Way, and the Ida B. Wells H.S. Positive Charge club to deliver cookies and holiday greetings to neighbors served by our nonprofit partners. Many of those who'll receive your cookies won’t have family support during the holidays. PC!PDX invites you to help make their day!

There are three ways to participate:

Option 1

At home, bake 2-3 dozen or more of your favorite holiday cookies or make some holiday greeting cards (one-panel, one-side, please, and no envelopes—cards and notes will be hole-punched and attached to decorated cookie platters). Deliver cards and cookies to Ida B. Wells High School (courtyard entrance on the east side) on Saturday, December 13, at 1:00 pm.

Ways to amplify the good deed:

  • Make it a party and invite friends over to bake or create holiday cards.

  • Set up a card-making station in the office break-room of your workplace or in your school cafeteria.

Option 2

After delivering your cookies and cards, stay and join in to assemble the donated cookies onto platters and add decorations. Or create greeting cards to accompany the cookies with provided supplies.

Kids ages 6+ are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Option 3

Want to do more? Drive decorated cookie platters to 1-3 partner organizations in the Portland Metro area. PC!PDX hopes to deliver to at least 30 locations serving 600 people, so your help would be greatly appreciated!
