A makeover is underway at Hillsdale's Basics Market. The work is expected to be completed as soon as March and will be tackled in stages to allow the store to remain open during construction.
Basics spokesperson Mary Paganelli tells us that the renovation includes updating fixtures, floors, and interior signage. New amenities in the works are the addition of a new aisle, a floral department, all-new produce department and streamlined checkout. Upon completion, customers will find expanded offerings in prepared foods, produce, cheese and deli offerings, beer and wine as well as frozen food and ice cream.
